DEVIN HALLETT SNYDER

I was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and attended Winchester Thurston and Shadyside Academy.   I spent much of my growing-up years helping at my parents’ small business in Oakmont. After graduating cum laude from Colgate University, I went on to graduate from William & Mary School of Law where I was an articles editor for the Environmental Law and Policy Review. After interning with both the Pennsylvania Supreme Court and the United States Attorney’s Office, I practiced in many areas of the law at general practice law firms in Virginia.  With the perspective that comes from becoming a mom, I decided to move home to Pittsburgh and start my own practice.

I am a trained mediator, trained in the collaborative process and a member of CLASP (the Collaborative Law Association of Southwestern Pennsylvania), and the IACP (the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals). I am also an active member of the Allegheny County Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association. I am an executive committee member and the current chair of the CLASP Education Committee and member of the pro bono committee, working to make collaborative divorce accessible to all residents of Allegheny County. I am also a member and board member of Women’s Business Network.
